When ordering funeral flowers, the terminology can sometimes be confusing. The two most common options are standing sprays and sympathy arrangements.
Standing Sprays:
These are large, visually striking arrangements designed to be displayed on a freestanding easel. They are typically sent directly to the funeral home or church and are meant to be viewed from the front. They are usually sent by close family, extended family, or business groups.
Sympathy Arrangements:
These are beautiful floral designs created in a vase, basket, or container. They can be placed on a table, pedestal, or the floor around the casket. Unlike sprays, sympathy arrangements can be sent to the funeral home or directly to the family's residence.
